Strings West is a music school for young people who want to have fun with music, meet other people and reach their musical goals.
An initiative of western string teachers Sarah Busuttil (violin) and Laura Sheridan (cello), Strings West provides children with the opportunity to learn, perform and excel in music through participation in ensembles, choirs and music craft.
Concerned by the lack of opportunities for young musicians to get together in the west, Sarah and Laura sought to rectify the matter, and Strings West was born.
String West's philosophy remains one of nurture. To educate, encourage and inspire our young musicians and thereby give them the tools to create happy, fulifilled and successful musical lives.
See the Strings West website for more information.
